Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy is a professional template aligned with credit-based subscription billing via Razorpay. Please review and finalise it with legal counsel.

1. Free trial

New users may evaluate the Service through a 30-day free trial in Sandbox mode. No charge is made during the trial, and no credit card is required to start. Paid billing begins only when you choose a Plan and complete checkout.

2. Subscriptions & renewals

Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance in INR and renew automatically until cancelled. By subscribing, you authorise recurring charges via Razorpay for your selected Plan.

3. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your subscription settings. Cancellation stops future renewals; you will retain access to your Plan until the end of the current paid billing period. We do not provide pro-rated refunds for partial periods unless required by law.

4. Refund eligibility

  • Refund requests must be made within a reasonable period after a charge and will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
  • Refunds, where granted, apply to unused subscription periods and exclude consumed usage.
  • Duplicate or erroneous charges will be refunded upon verification.

5. Non-refundable items

Consumed credits are non-refundable. Credits used for messages or automation, and add-on credit top-ups that have been wholly or partly consumed, are not eligible for refund.

6. Credit top-ups

Add-on credits purchased outside your monthly allocation are billed at the time of purchase. Unused top-up credits follow the terms shown at checkout. Top-ups are generally non-refundable once added to your balance.

7. Refund process & timelines

Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method through Razorpay. Depending on your bank or provider, refunds typically appear within 5–10 business days after approval.

8. Billing disputes

For any billing question, incorrect charge or refund request, contact info@startupmatricks.in with your account details and transaction reference. We aim to respond promptly and resolve issues fairly.

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date reflects the latest revision.
