Last updated: 1 June 2026
1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets the rules for using the Infoflow platform (the "Service"). It exists to keep messaging trustworthy, lawful and compliant with WhatsApp and Meta requirements. It supplements our Terms & Conditions.
2. Messaging consent (opt-in)
You must obtain and maintain valid opt-in consent from every recipient before messaging them through the Service. You must keep records of consent and provide a clear, working way for recipients to opt out, and you must honour opt-out requests promptly.
3. WhatsApp & Meta compliance
You must comply with the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy, the WhatsApp Commerce Policy and all applicable Meta terms and policies, as well as applicable laws (including telecom, marketing and data-protection laws). Failure to comply may result in suspension by Infoflow or by Meta.
4. Prohibited content & conduct
- Spam, bulk unsolicited messaging, or messaging without valid consent.
- Illegal, fraudulent, deceptive or misleading content.
- Harassment, hate speech, threats, or content that is abusive or violent.
- Sexually explicit, exploitative, or content harmful to minors.
- Malware, phishing, or attempts to compromise security.
- Infringement of intellectual-property or privacy rights.
- Sale or promotion of prohibited or regulated goods and services in violation of policy or law.
5. Anti-spam & sending practices
You must use approved message templates where required, avoid excessive or irrelevant messaging, respect frequency expectations, and maintain healthy sending practices to protect your number's quality rating. Do not attempt to evade rate limits or quality controls.
6. Prohibited industries & uses
You must not use the Service for industries or use cases prohibited by WhatsApp, Meta or applicable law. If you are unsure whether your use case is permitted, contact us before sending.
7. Data responsibility
You are the controller of the contact data you upload and process. You must have a lawful basis to collect and message that data and must handle it in line with applicable privacy laws and our Privacy Policy.
